Policies and terms of service

General

These policies and terms of service apply to AKTIVWORX on-line store only and are not necessarily identical to those those that apply to shopping in our ‘bricks and mortar’ store.  However in either case we are governed by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.

Store Currency

All purchases on the AKTIVWORX Online Store are in New Zealand dollars.

Delivery

Courier

We send by courier and aim to dispatch orders within 2 – 3 days from time of order.

Details of courier fees and options are detailed within the on-line purchasing process.

A tracking code will be sent to you via emailed or SMS depending on the contact details you provide during the on-line ordering process.

Please note that we do not send to PO Box address and so you will need to provide a physical delivery address.

Click and Collect

‘Click and Collect’ gives you the flexibility of ordering online and being able to pick up your order from our store at your convenience. We will notify when your order is ready to be collected.

Click and Collect is Free and items can normally be collected from our store any day during opening hours.
Contactless Pickup

Covid-19 and Social distancing requirements

During COVID-19 restrictions and any other social distancing restrictions, collections will be scheduled so as to ensure social distancing and contactless protocols.

Cancellations

Once an order has been placed and ‘Confirmed’ and the payment process has been completed, your order cannot be cancelled on-line.  Please refer to our returns and exchanges policy in the first instance and call us if you need further assistance.

Returns and exchanges policy

The following policy applies to purchases from our on-line store, excluding sale items. Courier and postage policies in relation to returns or exchanges are valid for New Zealand only.  All freight costs outside of New Zealand are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Refunds are not provided for items purchased on sale or discounted prices.

If you wish to exchange for another size, colour or completely different item that is fine.  Just let us know what you want and we will sort it out.  The sooner you return the item to us the greater chance we will have what you want, so let us know if you are not happy as soon as possible.

Product returned for  refund or exchange must be received by us within 14 days from the date of purchase.

Exchanges are not dispatched until the item(s) from the original purchase are received by us.  If you are exchanging items that you purchased from us on line, will send the exchange items to you for Free.  You are responsible for the cost of returning the product to us.

Providing the items returned have not been worn and still retain their original tags, labels and packaging, and are not damaged through misuse or lack of reasonable care, we will refund you the purchase price of the item.

Please make sure that swimwear is tried on over your own underwear.  In the interests of hygiene, we reserve the right to accept the return of items where it’s obvious that this has not been done.

Returns received after 14 days may not be automatically accepted and will be assessed at our discretion. Freight costs will not be refunded, only the value of the item with the following exception.  If you are returning faulty product we will reimburse the postage or courier fees for returns within NZ.

Refunds will be processed in the method as the original payment.

Returns and exchanges process

If you wish to return or exchange an item purchased through our on-line store please email us with the following information:

1.  Invoice / receipt number

2.  Date of purchase

3.  Your name

4  The reason you would like to return or exchange the items:

  • Does not fit
  • Item is different than that shown in the on-line shop
  • Prefer an alternative item
  • Item was received damaged or faulty

5. Exchange options (if applicable). Please let us know your preferred product, size and colour.

We will contact you ASAP to confirm the return and any possible exchanges you may like

Wrap any product that you are sending back in packaging similar to that used when we dispatched the product to you. Return any labels, tags and any proprietary / display packaging along with the product.

Courier to us by Tracked Courier – for your insurance (goods remain your responsibility until we sign for them).

On receipt we will contact you for your Credit Card details for a Refund, or payment if required for an exchange of greater value, and then ship the new item to you for Free.

Gift cards / vouchers

Our Gift Cards or Gift vouchers are redeemable at AKTIVWORX Resort & Swimwear only either in-store or though our on-line shop. Our Gift Cards or Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months after which they expire.

Our Gift Cards or Gift vouchers can be used to purchase any in-stock products up to the value of the Gift Card(s).  Our Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
